Financial Crime Intelligence Analyst - Fiat

About the role

BVNK, a stablecoin-powered financial stack for enterprises now part of Mastercard, is looking for a Financial Crime Intelligence Analyst to join its fast-growing Financial Crime Intelligence team. The role reports to a Financial Crime Intelligence Lead and focuses on BVNK's fiat offering, while cases may cross into digital assets and blockchain investigations. It requires flexible hours covering 06:00 to 20:00 GMT/BST, with occasional weekend shifts on rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Review sanctions and watchlist screening alerts on entities and individuals
• Manage end-to-end financial crime investigations triggered by transaction monitoring, payment screening, blockchain analytics and other triggers
• Draft Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for submission to the relevant authorities
• Work with colleagues on transaction monitoring systems, identifying and testing rule changes
• Escalate opportunities to strengthen BVNK's control environment

Required profile

• Experience in fiat transaction monitoring or sanctions/watchlist review within a regulated institution or digital assets setting
• Experience drafting and submitting SARs
• Interest in digital assets and willingness to expand knowledge in this area
• Exceptional written and verbal English
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and present findings to senior stakeholders
