Finance Accounting and Reporting Expert (12-Month Fixed-Term)

About the role

Join Zurich's Group Finance Accounting and Reporting (FAR) team in Krakow to support quarterly close and Group IFRS reporting. The 12‑month fixed‑term role offers exposure to local, regional and global projects, requiring a proactive, flexible individual with a strong "can‑do" attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Support the quarterly close activities of the Group Reporting Team.
• Maintain and enhance the Power BI environment, including datasets, master files and dashboards.
• Prepare disclosure tables and notes for Group IFRS consolidated financial statements.
• Analyse IFRS Group Reporting submissions from Business Units.
• Monitor Group‑wide intercompany balances, transactions and mismatches, acting as subject‑matter expert for the Fiori IC Mismatch Tool and related SAP processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of financial reporting processes.
• Participate in Group FAR projects and cooperate with stakeholders such as Group Consolidation, FSM and regional units.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, accounting, economics or IT.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive “can‑do” attitude.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
