Export Control Officer – Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Export Control Officer joins Bosch's global Export Control Organization, supporting the Warsaw team and collaborating with colleagues in Germany and worldwide. You act as a strategic partner, taking ownership of compliance cases, prioritising work independently and guiding the business through complex export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with national and international export control laws, sanctions and trade regulations.
• Classify products, software and technology according to dual‑use, military and local export control lists.
• Screen transactions, business partners and shipments against sanctioned party lists to prevent unauthorized transfers.
• Manage export control master data, licences and restrictions within SAP.
• Advise cross‑functional and cross‑hierarchy stakeholders on export control, sanctions and trade compliance matters.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities and propose corrective actions.

Required profile

• Ability to work autonomously and make responsible decisions in highly sensitive cases.
• Strong knowledge of EU export control regulations and sanctions.
• Willingness to collaborate with local and international trade experts.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
