Export Control Classification Specialist – Warsaw

About the role

As an Export Control Classification Specialist at Bosch in Warsaw, you will ensure compliance with international trade regulations and sanctions regimes. You will classify Bosch’s portfolio of products, technologies and software for export control purposes, working closely with cross‑functional and global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform export control classification of Bosch portfolio (products, technologies, software) according to EU, US and other national regimes.
• Gather technical information and documentation from cross‑functional and international stakeholders to support accurate classification.
• Collaborate with global Export Control and Foreign Trade functions across multiple countries, communicating in English.
• Monitor changes in foreign trade regulations, export control rules and sanctions regimes in various jurisdictions.
• Support tariff/customs classification where required.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business, engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance, product engineering or a related area.
• Strong understanding of export control classification and ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced English proficiency; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, GTS or MIC.
• Knowledge of tariff/customs classification (asset).
