Expert Gameplay Programmer (Unannounced Project)

About the role

We are seeking an Expert Gameplay Programmer to join an unannounced project at 11 bit studios. The role is based in Warsaw and follows a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prototype, develop and maintain gameplay features.
• Participate in gameplay feature design and collaborate closely with designers.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to gameplay code.
• Debug and optimise gameplay code.
• Analyse technical risks and requirements for gameplay solutions.
• Enforce good programming practices within the team.
• Share knowledge and experience with other programmers.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional programming experience in game development.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Unreal Engine.
• Experience working on multiplayer and/or co‑op games is preferred.
• Expert practical knowledge of C++ and modern gameplay systems.
• Proven ability to take gameplay features from prototype through implementation and iteration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with other disciplines.
• Up‑to‑date with current technology trends.
