DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Codest is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its client’s agile, cross‑functional engineering team. You will help evolve a cloud‑enabled platform, supporting end‑to‑end feature delivery and releases while working in a collaborative, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications that embed AI‑powered features.
• Build intelligent business applications using modern AI technologies such as MCP, LLMs and agentic frameworks.
• Implement AI best practices, controls and governance aligned with software development principles.
• Work with AWS and Jenkins to support deployment, automation and infrastructure processes.
• Collaborate on microservice‑based solutions and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.
• Apply Git strategies and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
• Support the delivery of scalable, reliable and maintainable DevOps‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps role.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong ability to work closely with development and operations teams.

Required skills

• AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, RDS).
• Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• Git version control and branching strategies.
• Automation of deployments, infrastructure and operational processes.
• System monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Security, backup and disaster‑recovery best practices.
• Microservice architecture concepts.
• AI technologies (MCP, LLMs, agentic frameworks).
