Data Engineer – Full Stack (AI‑First)

About the role

Coople is looking for a pragmatic, hands‑on Full Stack Data Engineer to own the end‑to‑end data platform. You will drive data democratisation, making trusted data discoverable and easy to use across the organisation while evolving the stack toward an AI‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full data lifecycle: ingest, transform, and curate datasets in Databricks and deliver reliable Power BI dashboards.
• Enable data democratisation by reducing friction for non‑technical users and supporting a chat‑based conversational data interface.
• Advance an AI‑first workflow: use AI for code generation, testing, documentation, data‑quality checks and incident response.
• Partner with Warsaw development teams and cross‑location stakeholders to maintain robust data contracts, monitoring, and operational hygiene.

Required profile

• ~5 years of data‑engineering experience with strong SQL, data‑modelling and ETL/ELT fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, jobs) and Power BI reporting.
• Proven ability to own data end‑to‑end, ensure data quality and enable self‑service for business users.
• Fluent English and a mindset for AI‑assisted development while maintaining rigorous validation.

What we offer

• Monthly base salary PLN 23 000 – 29 000 (10 % target bonus and ESOP).
