Data Center Operations Engineer – Poland

About the role

Data4 is looking for a Data Center Operations Engineer to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of critical infrastructure at its Jawczyce campus in Poland. The engineer will work autonomously, coordinating with internal teams, customers and service providers to maintain service continuity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous operation of electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection and low‑current systems, monitoring performance via BMS and other tools.
• Lead incident lifecycle from detection to resolution, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Plan, supervise and document preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS, ensuring change management procedures are followed.
• Manage on‑site technical vendors, monitor SLA/KPI compliance and conduct performance reviews.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers during maintenance and incidents, providing reports and supporting audits.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental standards, conduct safety inspections and coordinate safe execution of works.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical, mechanical or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in operations, critical facilities or industrial environments; data‑center experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with external vendors and service providers.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
