Customer Configurator Solution Architect - Digital Customer Experience

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY SERVICES is looking for a Customer Configurator (Camos) Solution Architect in Krakow to help shape sales and commerce solutions. You will work with business and technology teams to design scalable configuration solutions using Camos within Digital Commerce platforms, drive process improvements and influence the sales ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Define the Camos technical solution and align it with Conga CPQ, back-end systems (e.g. SAP) and other integrated applications
• Work with users to understand current sales processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Support validation and prioritization of business demand with Product Owners, business functions, CPQ consultants and partners
• Translate functional designs into detailed functional and technical specifications and sign off use-case documentation
• Communicate technical specifications to development teams and take part in unit testing, UAT and defect resolution
• Define architectural guidelines and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, security)
• Keep knowledge of Camos, Conga CPQ and Digital Commerce up to date and maintain solution documentation and training materials
• Advise on new or changed Camos/Digital Commerce solutions and assess cross-stream impacts with SAP, Finance, Order Management and Integration
• Support the installation, management, maintenance and optimization of CPQ and Digital Commerce processes and ensure architectural standards are followed

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Proven experience in software architecture and design
• Proven experience with Camos or similar platforms
• Experience in the Energy sector or B2B market is a plus

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of a CPQ-like solution (preferably Conga/Salesforce)
• Angular and C# knowledge
• Integration technologies (MuleSoft) and APIs
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
