Contract Analyst I

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Contract Analyst I in Warsaw. Working in a sponsor-dedicated model, you will prepare, verify and carry out invoicing through electronic processing and reporting for an assigned portfolio of accounts. ICON is described as the world's largest FSP organisation, with over 90 sponsor partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate directly with assigned sites on all site-related contracting items, including clinical trial agreements, budgets, payment terms, ancillary agreements and amendments.
• Partner with the internal Study Startup team, CROs, Clinical Operations teams and TAU partners to improve SB&C metrics and deliver processes.
• Ensure standards are applied to the SB&C processes across projects.
• Use industry tools and data sources to give budget and contract feedback aligned with parameters and fair market value guidance.
• Recognise and improve potential delays, escalate them to the right team members and track actions so timelines are met for studies and sites.
• Support resolving escalated issues identified by the site activation sub-team, together with the Study Startup team.

Required profile

• BS degree or international equivalent.
• 2 or more years of experience in clinical research site contracting and budgeting within a pharmaceutical company, CRO or relevant industry vendor.
• Ability to explain data to support data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of clinical study protocols and schedules of assessments.
• Strong organisational, decision-making, communication and negotiation skills.
