Compliance Specialist – Warsaw

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join its Warsaw office. The role supports the Compliance Officer in ensuring that the company’s operations adhere to Polish national laws and relevant regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse updates to national legislation, regulations and policies, and evaluate their impact on business activities.
• Review commercial contracts, agreements and internal management systems for legal compliance.
• Identify compliance risks in business processes, assist departments in designing control measures and conduct compliance assessments.
• Participate in handling compliance cases and, when authorised, communicate with external regulators.
• Provide daily support to the Compliance Officer, including due‑diligence, training coordination and fostering a compliance‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law or a related field.
• Passed the bar exam or a recognised legal professional qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in a multinational corporation, law firm, or a legal/compliance function (recent graduates may be considered).
• Native‑level Polish and strong English communication skills; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Polish civil and commercial law.
• Ability to apply legal provisions to practical business issues.
• Familiarity with commercial contract review, trade compliance, financial compliance and data‑privacy regulations.
• Strong logical analysis, rigorous work attitude and excellent coordination abilities.
