Azure DevOps Engineer (Senior Level)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Azure DevOps Engineer with strong Linux administration experience to manage and optimise our Azure cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for building robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system security, and supporting our development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Azure infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep.
• Automate deployments and manage resources via Azure DevOps pipelines and scripts.
• Monitor and optimise performance, scalability and cost of Azure services.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure‑hosted applications.
• Administer Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS), applying updates, patches and configuration management with Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Implement security best practices, conduct assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams and provide on‑call production support.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Azure services, VM management, networking, storage and security.
• Strong Linux system administration skills across major distributions.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
