Application Management Framework Manager

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY POLAND is looking for an Application Management Framework Manager in Krakow. The role is responsible for establishing, maintaining and continuously improving the Application Management Framework across the High Voltage Business Unit so that applications are managed consistently, services are delivered according to Hitachi Energy standards and policies, and Application Managers have the right processes, standards and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and continuously improve the Application Management Framework across the Business Unit.
• Develop and maintain standards, processes, templates and governance documentation aligned with Hitachi Energy policies.
• Support Application Managers through training, onboarding, guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Drive improvements in application governance, application ownership quality and CMDB data quality.
• Set criteria for moving applications to Application Management Services providers and oversee supplier delivery against agreed standards and service levels.
• Simplify and standardise Application Management processes and collaborate with Portfolio Management, Compliance Management, Application Managers and support teams to raise maturity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5-8 years of professional IT experience in a global organisation, with strong expertise in Application Management, IT Governance or IT Service Management.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining governance frameworks, standards, procedures and operational documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills, and good stakeholder management.
• Spoken and written English proficiency required.

Required skills

• Experience with ServiceNow, CMDB management and application lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
