Agentic AI Engineer – SAP Retail & Supply Chain

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for an Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents that enhance and automate SAP Retail or SAP MM Supply Chain processes. The role focuses on creating intelligent agents that monitor SAP transactions, detect anomalies, generate insights, and execute automated actions through integration with SAP and related enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents that interact with SAP Retail or SAP MM and Supply Chain systems.
• Build agents to monitor inventory, allocation, and sales transactions, detect operational anomalies, and generate insights with automated corrective actions.
• Develop agent workflows using Python, automation frameworks, and agent orchestration tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or LangGraph.
• Implement API integrations and event-driven architectures to connect AI agents with SAP via BAPIs, Function Modules, OData services, and IDOCs.
• Integrate solutions with SAP S/4HANA Retail or ECC Retail environments and related systems like SAP CAR, POS, eCommerce, OMS, and WMS.
• Apply SAP Retail expertise to automate core retail processes including Merchandise Management, Inventory Management, Allocation and Replenishment, and Retail Structure & Pricing.
• Develop automated monitoring to address inventory discrepancies, allocation issues, integration failures, and order fulfillment inconsistencies.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience with SAP Retail or SAP MM.
• Hands-on experience in at least two areas such as Merchandise Management, Inventory Management, Allocation & Replenishment, or Retail Pricing.
• Strong technical aptitude with interest or experience in Python, automation, and AI-driven workflows.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with SAP functional, integration, and engineering teams.
