Accountant – Financial Accounting & Reporting

About the role

To perform specific Financial Accounting and Reporting activities relevant for Group and Local reporting to support and reinforce key business objectives. The role offers the chance to participate in local, regional and global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and perform general ledger bookings and account reconciliations, including deferred income tax, accruals, provisions and pre‑payments.
• Provide Group and external reporting (balance sheet, P&L, supplementary information) in accordance with IFRS, Swiss GAAP, Swiss Solvency Test and other applicable standards.
• Execute closing activities, maintain interfaces to sub‑ledgers and support revaluation, regrouping and cost allocation cycles.
• Support projects such as analysis and implementation of Group Chart of Accounts changes.
• Maintain contacts with stakeholders including FAR Controllers, Actuaries and Local Accountants.
• Execute controls within the ICFR framework.

Required profile

• At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Practical experience in general ledger, financial audit or financial reporting.
• Degree in Finance and Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP financial systems.
