Senior Payroll Advisor – German Language

About the role

SD Worx is looking for a Senior Payroll Advisor fluent in German to join our Katowice team. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing for German‑speaking clients, ensuring compliance with local tax and social security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute independent payroll accounting, including mini‑jobs, interns, temporary workers and other special cases.
• Maintain master and transaction data, record time, and certify payroll entries.
• Generate statistics, reports and evaluations for internal and client use.
• Resolve payroll tax and social security queries, acting as the main contact for customers, health insurers and social agencies.
• Conduct year‑end payroll processes and address related questions.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken German and good English communication skills.
• Proven experience in independent payroll accounting for German customers.
• Solid knowledge of German income tax and social security legislation.
• Familiarity with a common billing system and proficient use of MS‑Office tools.
• Independent, conscientious, well‑structured work style with strong service orientation.
