Field Solutions Engineer – Hivemind Autonomy

About the role

Shield AI is hiring a Field Solutions Engineer, Hivemind, based in Warsaw, Poland to support technical sales, customer engagements, demonstrations, and capture activities for its autonomy solution. The role serves as a customer‑facing technical expert, helping defense and security customers understand how autonomy can solve operational problems and integrate into force structures.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for Hivemind autonomy solutions across the EURAF region, focusing on Poland, Eastern Europe, NATO and allied customers.
• Support customer discovery, technical briefings, demonstrations, technical interchange meetings and capture activities.
• Translate mission needs, CONOPs and integration constraints into credible Hivemind solution concepts.
• Partner with Business Development and Capture teams on RFIs, RFPs, proposals, white papers and demos.
• Develop and maintain technical sales assets such as capability briefs, demo scripts, solution templates and FAQs.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Engagement and Program teams to represent customer requirements and field feedback.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, field applications engineering, systems engineering, technical sales or related customer‑facing roles.
• Strong technical understanding of autonomy, AI‑enabled systems, mission software and unmanned systems.
• Experience supporting international defense, security, aerospace or advanced‑technology customers.
• Ability to translate customer mission needs into technically feasible solution concepts and product feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical, operational, commercial and leadership audiences.
• Willingness to travel internationally and professional fluency in Polish and English.
