Customer Service Officer – German Language

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer who will support our German‑speaking customers throughout the Order‑to‑Cash process. You will act as the main point of contact, ensuring smooth order fulfillment and handling any issues that arise. The role combines customer interaction with cross‑functional collaboration across sales, finance, logistics and transport.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to dedicated customers and monitor order fulfillment.
• Manage customer complaints, deliver professional answers and represent customer interests within BASF.
• Collaborate with local and international departments (sales, finance, logistics, transport) to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the system in line with company and legal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience in sales administration or business customer service.
• Advanced proficiency in English and German.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP SD module.
• Knowledge of Salesforce (advantage).
