Senior Frontend Software Engineer (React)

About the role

Luxoft is recruiting a Senior Frontend Software Engineer in Krakow for a client in the investment banking industry. The role focuses on building modern, scalable web applications with clean code and agile methods, in a fast-paced environment where the candidate works across several frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern, scalable web applications with React (17+) and TypeScript, with exposure to Angular where needed
• Build reusable UI components with a focus on performance, accessibility and maintainability
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and consume RESTful APIs
• Translate business and product requirements into clean, intuitive interfaces
• Write and maintain automated UI tests with React Testing Library, Cypress and/or Playwright
• Maintain styling with CSS3, Less and CSS Modules, owning the UI look and feel
• Take part in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies and perform code reviews
• Work with QA, product managers and designers to deliver quality results

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in React with TypeScript, with a proven track record on long-term projects
• Expertise in HTML5 and JavaScript (ES)
• Experience testing UI applications (RTL, Cypress, Playwright)
• Clean coding skills, excellent problem-solving and good communication skills
• Nice to have: Redux, RESTful API design experience, familiarity with Scrum and Kanban, English at C1 level
