Product Trainee Program

About the role

Avarda Group is looking for ambitious graduates and early‑career professionals to join an 18‑month Product Trainee Program within its Data Platform team in Gdańsk. You will work side‑by‑side with Product Managers, data engineers, analysts and business specialists, gaining hands‑on experience in building data‑driven products for modern banking.

Key responsibilities

• Learn how data is generated and flows through core banking, payments and servicing systems.
• Collaborate with analysts, Risk, Finance and other business teams to understand data consumption across European markets.
• Document data flows, business processes and write clear product requirements.
• Support prioritisation, roadmap discussions and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Participate in discussions with external data providers and partners.

Required profile

• Curious mindset with a passion for asking questions and making complex topics understandable.
• Comfortable working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Interest in how regulation, customer needs and technology intersect.
• Enthusiasm for understanding the “why” behind data requirements.

Required skills

• Understanding of data governance, data quality and privacy/regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with banking and financial services data flows.
• Basic knowledge of automated decision‑making processes such as onboarding, credit limit management and fraud prevention.
