Logistics Control Tower Analyst – Front or Back Office

About the role

As a Logistics Control Tower Analyst at 3M, you will join the EMEA Control Tower team and work on end‑to‑end shipment visibility, escalation handling and transportation planning. The role offers the choice of a Front Office focus on customer interaction or a Back Office focus on execution and performance optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transportation performance and ensure visibility of critical shipments across assigned markets.
• Proactively communicate status, identify risks and lead cross‑functional escalation and recovery processes.
• Act as the single point of contact for transportation issues, collaborating with Sales, CSR, CIR and Planning teams.
• Plan transportation requirements, balance network demand and secure carrier capacity within the planning horizon.
• Manage shipment execution from booking to delivery, coordinating with plants, distribution centres and hubs.
• Monitor carrier compliance, performance against KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Support standardisation of transportation processes, digital solutions implementation and data integrity.

Required profile

• Experience in transportation, logistics, customer service or supply chain.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Comfort working in multicultural teams.
