Data Scientist – AI & Document Automation

About the role

Join the Document Lifecycle cluster at Commerzbank Poland as a Data Scientist. You will support the strategic DocAI+ initiative, building AI solutions that automatically process information from documents across more than 40 automation use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and validate machine‑learning models for data‑driven applications and services.
• Perform data and pipeline analysis to identify issues, support stakeholders and enable better decision‑making.
• Collaborate with customers and interface partners to understand business challenges and advise on AI‑supported solutions.
• Explore advanced data‑driven techniques and assess their potential to improve models, processes and business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s AI governance framework and manage ongoing activities according to new guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the data‑science development cycle and ability to advise on end‑to‑end business processes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Experience working in cross‑functional agile teams across business, technology and operations.
